How to reach the Conference venue

1. By car

Use the postcode LE11 3GR or type ‘Holywell Way, Loughborough’ into your sat nav. Leave junction 23 of the M1, taking the A512 Ashby Road towards Loughborough. At the first roundabout, turn right into Holywell Way (signposted for Burleigh Court and Holywell Park). Once you’ve got your visitor badge from the gatehouse, turn left at the roundabout, passing the STEM Lab building on your right-hand side. Take the next right which is sign posted to Burleigh Court and proceed to our car park barrier.

• All parking is free of charge, please register your vehicle at reception
• There is a drop off point at the main entrance
• There are 9 designated accessible parking spaces close to the entrance to Burleigh Court – 5 at the main entrance and 4 at the side entrance
• There are also 5 EV charging bays that are payable by the kWh (32p/kWh including VAT)

2. By train

Loughborough mainline train station is only 3 miles away, and 10 minutes in a taxi. Regular intercity train services operate from London St Pancras International directly to Loughborough and take approximately 90 minutes.

If you are flying in to London, this is how to reach London St Pancras for trains to Loughborough:

Gatwick airport:  is a 44 minute train journey to London St Pancras International. It is a direct service on a ‘Thameslink’ train https://www.thameslinkrailway.com/

Heathrow airport: If you are flying into Heathrow there are various ways to reach London St Pancras International. The easiest is to:

– go to the underground, and look for the Elizabeth Line. Get a train on this line to Farringdon station. This will take approximately 35 minutes

-From Farringdon change for a ‘Thameslink’ train to London St Pancras International. This will take about 5 minutes.

– If you would rather not have to change trains, then alternatively you can take the Picadilly Line on the underground from Heathrow to London St Pancras, which will take around an hour.

Please be aware, the conference is held in Loughborough, which is a town in Leicestershire. This is NOT to be confused with Loughborough Junction which is a small neighbourhood in South London!  

3. By bus

The popular University shuttle bus runs between the University and Loughborough’s train station every 10 minutes during term time and 20 minutes out of term time.

4. By air

The conference venue is just 8 miles from East Midlands Airport and 38 miles from Birmingham International Airport. Heathrow Airport in London is 130 miles away.
