Hello!
Thank you for finding your way to this page. Now you’re here, get yourself a cuppa and have a think about all the different ways you can help us to support families living with AT in the UK and Ireland.
Co-Op Membership
The AT Society have been nominated to receive funding from the Co-op as one of their community causes. To nominate us to receive 2p from every pound that you spend on Co-op on products (including financial products and funeral care) follow this link

You can now do your shopping online from the Co-op too!
Families Take Control
Families coming to terms with a new AT diagnosis often find fundraising helps them take control of their life-changing situation and find a positive way forward. We love to work with our fundraising families and watch them transform a heart-breaking situation into something really special.
Joy said “To me there was no choice, after the initial shock the way forward it seemed to me was to fundraise because it made me feel useful in a situation where I felt helpless. I could try to help make life easier for others. The charity gave me hope, this was my attempt to give back to the organisation that has been a lifeline to our family for over ten years now. As the children have got older and have become young adults they’ve joined in with raising awareness and help with fundraising efforts too.”
Get sponsored, bake cakes, throw a party, be sporty, have fun
Friends, neighbours, work colleagues, schools and groups……….most people have something they love to do or have always wanted to try which can be converted into a fundraising opportunity.
So whether you’re keen to jump out of a perfectly serviceable plane, organise a football tournament, run a 10K, climb a mountain, hold a coffee morning or bake sale, you can make a big difference.
Our downloadable fundraising pack is bursting with lots of lovely ideas, hints and tips for you. If you want a hard copy, contact us or call 01582 760 733 and we will post one to you.
Online donation sites
We currently use Just Giving which is a not-for-profit site and offers great value for your sponsors.
Please put your photo on your page so your supporters will recognise you and explain in your own words why supporting the AT Society matters to you. Telling your story in a powerful way will increase the size and number of donations you receive.
Be sure to share your fundraising page link across your social media and include it in your emails at home and at work. Make it easy for your friends to show their admiration for all you are doing by sponsoring your achievement.

Facebook Fundraisers
With society today being so Social Media focused, holding a Facebook Fundraiser is a fantastic way to raise funds for that all important charity. People don’t just hold a Facebook fundraiser in lieu of gifts for their special day, but they use them to help spread information about the charity. Facebook hits people internationally and all from your sofa! Why not set up your own fundraiser using Facebook by clicking the link here: https://bit.ly/3l3YE7p
