There has been a Phase 3 trial taking place recently by Quince Therapeutics, using dexamethasone as a treatment and involving blood extraction and reinfusion. We know many families were hoping for encouraging news from this but sadly, Quince announced on 30/1/26 that the treatment did not show the improvement researchers were looking for, and as a result, they will be stopping further development of this therapy.
