Olympics 2024

The Olympics and Paralympics are here!

Another opportunity to support our athletes and cheer on Team GB towards the gold! Why not seize this chance to organise a fundraiser with your co-workers, friends, or family? We have a variety of fundraising suggestions to kickstart your efforts and guide you all the way to success.

Get Social

Get together and celebrate with family and friends, organise an Olympic quiz or celebrate with the athletes at the opening or closing ceremony. You can then ask people to donate at the event or include some of the other fundraising ideas below.

Get Active

Engage in an activity you already love! Whether it’s Boccia, running, swimming, cycling, playing tennis, golf, or any other sport, set a personal goal and seek donations. You can participate solo or as part of a team.

Other ideas!

If sport isn’t your thing why not set yourself a reading challenge or Olympic themed crafting challenge (make an Olympic torch or your own scarecrow Olympian) – hold your own closing event Afternoon Tea style with homemade goodies and invite people to make a donation for their refreshments.

Office Olympics

Virtual or in person, embrace the challenge and aim for excellence! From pencil javelin to desk chair races and rubber band archery, there are activities for everyone to participate in. Consider charging an entry fee for each event as a form of fundraising.

Olympic Sweep Stake

Why not organise a sweep stake amongst friends and colleagues, whether its which country wins the most golds or who wins a certain event, it’s a great way to fundraise and have some fun. You can create your own or use this sweepstake generator to make it even easier. You can always duplicate peoples entries so they get even more chance to win!

Take on the Olympics

Why not join the athletes in completing your own challenge and raising sponsorship, you could do one of the Olympic disciplines or why not think outside the box, 500 burpees, 100m skip, danceathon or Boccia games.
