Created by film maker, Sharon Woodward, the film, ‘People like me’ gives a powerful insight into what it’s really like to live with Ataxia-Telangiectasia (AT). AT is a disabling and life shortening condition which compromises every area of life.
In November 2015 a group of young Adults with AT came together to help create this film, talking candidly about their lives, experiences and the importance of meeting up with other people with AT – ‘people like me’.
Thanks to the generosity of Pizza Hut Delivery, who hosted part of the weekend and funded the film, these young adults were given the opportunity to make their voices heard.
