We are happy to launch the new A-T Global Alliance. This is a collaboration of five international Ataxia Telangiectasia (AT) organisations, and currently includes representatives from the AT Society (UK), Action for AT (UK), BrAshA-T (Australia), Aefat (Spain) and the A-T Children’s Project (US).
Together we have been working on various projects including the creation of the first international directory for Ataxia Telangiectasia: www.cureat.org.
The site was established to pull together key information about ataxia telangiectasia including details of the latest research projects, publications and clinical trials, patient care and registries, and related meetings and conferences from around the world. The platform also includes links to each of the 20 known AT associations that exist in different countries. The website will be expanded and updated over time and we hope it will serve as a useful resource for the global AT community
What are the advantages of pair training? “The big advantage of pair training is that there is an additional incentive to exercise, a kind of commitment to a partner. It’s getting harder to cancel a workout or take a walk. Even a little competition doubles training begins “he did 10, and I can do 15”, ”Elena lists the positive aspects of pair training. “An additional plus of pair training is the ability to make adjustments to the technique and increase the effectiveness of group sessions. This result is achieved by the fact that the trainer can carry out individual work with the client, whom, perhaps, he sees in his lessons every day, ”notes Yuri Saveliev, director of group programs of the FizKult network.
